Seven Hundred

Now Meshell will be totally grossed out with me for putting pen to paper on this topic, she feels I have an bit of an obsession about bowels. I don't think I do, or do I? As I told her, darling, once you spend a few years changing nappies, it's water off a ducks back.

The things you read about in the morning paper, and the picture this article created in my head made me laugh, in a sympathetic, tch tch kinda way you understand ...

The article was about a cruise ship called the Liberty, which was heading from Rome to Florida with 2800 crew and holiday makers on board, and enroute 700 (have you got that, SEVEN HUNDRED) people were struck down with an severe intestinal virus that causes diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, cramps and chills.
SEVEN HUNDRED!
Can you imagine what your day would entail if you had scored the holiday job of a lifetime on that ship! And those poor passengers, after saving all their pennies for the trip of a lifetime it's hardly what they had in mind.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term Poop Deck.....
