Out Of The Mouths Of Babes

This morning I donned my MP3 player bursting forth with the sounds of the Rogue Traders and set about the task of cleaning out some of the crap that accumulated in my filing cabinet. Am I the only person that still has electricity bills and bank statements from 1985?

Anyway, I finished up by looking through my "Paul" file, the memorabilia of my dear sweet boy child who is now a big 18 year old. Into the bin went receipts from the school bookshop, junior football membership and cub scout fees, and into the 'keep' file went drawings, reports and stories about such things as green scary monsters. Oh, and these two letters. This one was folded tightly as small as it could go, to be carefully opened and read, one fold at a time...

Awww, isn't he sweet.

And then there's this one...

Hahaha!

And I am glad to finally find embarrassing bits about Paul on le blog and not me...and don't take that as a challenge.

Love it, Love it... just love it!! I have several of these sorts of letters which I've just sorted into four bundles to put into folders and to give back to the writers one day :-) Too precious! cheers Pennie

They are indeed precious Pennie. :-) And yes Miss Dot, mothers love to collect items such as these, to be brought out at opportune moments!

Awwww, great letters! He did talk to you again, right? (And I hope he's not like my 17-year-old brother who currently mainly speaks in one-words-sentences. :P)

All the men in this house are of few words. Which is just as well so us women can get our two cents worth in without interruption. :-)

These are treasures indeed. More than diamonds.
