It's my Mum's birthday today - Happy Birthday Mum xxx
I made her this bookmark to go with a nice big fat novel to get her teeth into.
She and I went out to lunch today and gutzed ourselves on Garlic Prawns. No-one does Garlic Prawns as brilliantly as the Witch's Cauldron does!

Oh wow, this is beautiful! It looks like the autumn we should be having instead of the cold and stormy weather we are currently getting. Also, which book did she get? :D

fel, the book is "World Without End" by Ken Follett, a historical novel that's the follow-up to "Pillars Of The Earth" which was a terrific book. 1100 pages so it should keep Mum busy for a bit!!

Lindsay, I've just frayed the raw ends of the bookmark. I use a blunt needle or a quick unpick and wiggle the horizontal threads out one at a time.
Thanks Dy. I think when I've done it I get very impatient and try to pull out chunks of thread at once!
What a gorgeous present. I bet she loved it.
