Scatterday Week 14

Wow, we're over the half way mark with week 14 of Scatterday, and this week it's the letter T

For the category of Hot Things I have used our wonderful TOASTER. Our household has had a thing about toasters for many many years, basically that they are all crap. Until this one. It's a brand I've never heard of - Raco, and I bought it from Target about 3 months ago for about $70 if I remember rightly. And it's great - it toasts evenly and beautifully and we are all content.

Next we have Purple and I have chosen THREADS. My father-in-law made me these lovely wooden thread holders and the reels of threads look nice all grouped together in their colour groups.

Finally is the category of Clothing. Now I may stand corrected but I think this little boy doll's hat is a TAM O' SHANTER. He belongs to my mother and I think he is very cute.
Just in case it's some other sort of hat that doesn't start with a T I've also included a TOP - a purple one at that. And guess what Michelle - I took the photo in the change room at Target - aren't I a brave little cookie! :-) I was terrified every time the camera beeped that someone was going to enquire as to what on earth I was doing, but I escaped without detection. I didn't buy the top in the end, I rather liked it but the shape of it made me look like a big fatty boombar as it accentuated my less flattering parts.

Now, on to next week - week 15. The letter for that week is M and the categories are Texture, Weapons and Hobby. There's a bit of thinking for us all....

don't you wish you could turn off that sound? it is insane, why do we need it, makes me cringe too when I am doing it over the vogue at the coffee shop, but bugger it, I talk to the dog in public so.... :-)

A flipping toaster. The things I didn't think of. I'm proud of you getting your camera out in public Dy but now you need to get out of the change room!

A tam-o-shanter. I would never have thought of that. Love your choices. I am getting a little braver about public photos, too. Though I keep expecting a hand on my shoulder telling me to cease and desist.

Gosh, I wish I had something useful to contribute to this discussion. Thought I'd pop out of lurkdom for a moment and tell you that I've been admiring your photos.

Looks like a Tam O'Shanter to me! (not that I'm an expert or anything)

I went through my grinchy pre-Christmas stress recently too. I feel much better now that I have half a dozen gifts made, ready to be wrapped and shipped. They even turned out well! (Whether the recipients like them or not remains to be seen. At this point I don't think I care.)
