Christmas Craft

Every year I make one or two of these Christmas Balls, but I went all out this year and put together four of them. It involves a little bit of cross stitch, a polystyrene ball, little squares of fabric that you fold, assorted trim, and fifty million little pins.... I reckon an X-ray of each ball would be quite interesting! They make nice gifts, and Meshell was supposed to get hers tomorrow, but she managed to wheedle it out of me today

I made some not quite so intricate many years ago - they must be still in my decorations box. They are beautiful and I know what you mean about using a billion pins.

Those are really lovely - any chance of a tutorial or link to a pattern or something?

How fabulous! What a great idea, particularly with the millions of pins! Very lucky people to receive such delicious baubles :)

I just love your fabric baubles, Dy. Do you have a pattern that you would be willing to share.
